Downlite taps former Himatsingka exec for marketing

Mason, Ohio – Bed comfort solutions manufacturer Downlite has added a marketing expert from the home textile industry to its team.

Janice Cameron has joined the company as Vice President of Marketing and reports to Beth Mack, Chief Marketing and Promotion Officer.

Prior to joining Downlite, Cameron most recently held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Himatsingka. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President of Marketing at Hollander Sleep Products. Earlier, she held various marketing and public relations roles at Perry Ellis.

“Throughout her career, Janice has brought major marketing and creative initiatives to every organization along with her keen ability to create products and brands that resonate with both the retail community and our consumer,” Mack said. “I couldn’t be more excited to have her join the Downlite team.”

Downlite products include comforters, mattress pads, and feather and fiber beds. In addition to the private label, its brand partners include the American Allergy and Asthma Association, Eddie Bauer, Nikowax, Pendleton Wolin Mills, Primaloft, Stearns & Foster, and Tommy Bahama, among others.
