Marketing Analyst – School of Professional Studies

Work summary:
Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, the School of Professional Studies is the newest school from Wake Forest University. SPS houses innovative graduate and non-degree programs, including certificates and other credentials for working professionals.

The Marketing Analyst position will carry out a range of communications and marketing related work that includes internal and external marketing and communications efforts including digital marketing, market research, campaign and project management (planning, design, management and analysis), and this overall position will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders such as employees and members of the Teaching, agencies, contractors, and vendors to manage and implement multiple marketing initiatives.

Minimum 2-4 years B2C marketing experience required. Experience in digital marketing, social media, and marketing campaign implementation and analysis preferred. The person in this role may be required to perform additional marketing and communications duties as part of the student facing team.

Responsibilities:
• Implement key marketing and communications strategies that contribute to increasing brand awareness and support recruitment goals while integrating with the overall goals and strategies of the School of Professional Studies
• Utilize technical marketing resources to plan, coordinate and manage email and digital messaging. Tools include but are not limited to: Web Content Management System (WordPress), Salesforce CRM, Sprout Social, Project Management Software, Basic Graphic Design Software and Email Marketing
• Design marketing dashboards, monitor and analyze project metrics for continuous quality improvement. Develop reports on social media, website, and digital marketing
• Monitors analyzes and prepares reports to identify trends demonstrating interest in market/competition dynamics. Understand the component tasks and their relationship to the broader focus of the project; Begins to lead initiatives
• Collaborate with digital marketing partners that provide search, retargeting, display and advertising services on social media
• Communicates with fellow management and supervisor on a daily basis and acts as a peer leader in project management
• Able to work independently and effectively to balance multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Prepare narrative explanations for analyzes as appropriate and contribute to final project deliverables. Provides regular progress updates and suggests potential solutions to project barriers
• Demonstrates a team player attitude and a positive approach to maintaining collaboration across all business units within the department

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree required, with preference given to those with a degree in a related field such as marketing, communications or business
• Minimum 2 years experience required
• Solid understanding of the consumer marketing journey and preferred strategy
• Must be able to work quickly under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal skills required
• Ability to set clear goals and implement projects from start to finish
