Opera Orlando Names New Marketing & Communications Coordinators

The Orlando Opera has announced two new additions to its cast.

The company has appointed Javier Rivera as Marketing and Advertising Coordinator with Maya Wilson as Communications Coordinator.

After graduating from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, Rivera joined the company after working with organizations such as Westfield Productions LLC, PRLinks Communications, International Book Fair & Ediciones Puerto, and Production Copelar.

Meanwhile, Wilson’s experience includes working with WUSA-TV, LAFFAPALOOZA!, LLC, BET, ASTARNOMICAL and the American Public Relations Student Association. She received a Master of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communications from Georgetown University and is also a graduate of Hampton University.

“For someone with Opera training with a passion for digital marketing, this new opportunity for me as Communications Coordinator at Opera Orlando gives me the best of both worlds,” Wilson told OperaWire. “I hope to help implement strategies in the most attractive and creative way that increases brand awareness for this organization, not only citywide, but also nationally! I also hope that my efforts will be able to build a community sense for Orlando Opera both online and offline” .
